    Keeping Up with Service Hours

    • Don’t Forget to update your Record of Service every month. No more paper! Log on to www.VolunteerLEON.org/VolunteerConnection and create a free account (or log in if you already have one) and document your service hours by the 15th of every month. Having your hours documented helps us when we are preparing to present service awards and for documenting scholarship hours. This is a brand new system, so the hours you reported in the past have not been transferred yet. They will be added by this month.  In the meantime, if you want an update on your total hours, call the office at 606-1970.  Or fax us at 413-9095. Thanks!

    Youth Corps Chapter

    • There are currently Youth Corps Chapters at SAIL High School, Big Bend Cares, and Capital Area American Red Cross. Start your own Youth Corps Chapter at your school or the community organization you volunteer at. Talk to the Youth Corps Coordinator about how to get it started.

    Youth Initiated Projects

    • TELL US YOUR IDEAS! The Leadership Council wants to hear your ideas for future service projects. You can present your ideas at the monthly leadership council meetings, or by contacting Meghan. Projects that fit into the HEADS UP focus areas will receive priority funding, but all ideas are welcome and will be considered.
