  • Association of Fundraising Professionals - The largest professional organization supporting individuals responsible for generating philanthropic support for a wide variety of nonprofit, charitable organizations. AFP represents 26,000 members in 172 chapters throughout the world.

  • Big Bend Association of Fundraising Professionals - Provides a local forum for education, resources, networking and peer support to fundraising staff members
  • Canadian Centre for Philanthropy  
  • Chronicle of Philanthropy - The Chronicle of Philanthropy is the newspaper of the nonprofit world. It is the top news source, in print and online, for charity leaders, fund raisers, grant makers, and other people involved in the philanthropic enterprise.
  • Corporate Grantmaker Information - This site is maintained by a private law firm but contains an alphabetic listing of most of the corporate grantmakers in the USA and links to their sites:
  • Council on Foundations - You will find many useful sites and information under “resources” and “links.” For example, the links section contains information on the Council's Affinity Groups--specialized information exchange and networking or focus groups. In addition, this area offers direct links to the Communications Network (useful communication resources and services), the Grantmaker Forum on Community and National Service, and the Grantmakers Evaluation Network.

  • Grantsmanship Center - The Grantsmanship Center (TGCI) was founded in 1972 to offer grantsmanship training and low-cost publications to nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Today, TGCI conducts some 200 workshops annually in grantsmanship and proposal writing.
