Citizens Information Center
VolunteerLEON also serves as the
Citizens Information Center coordinating agency.
The purpose of the Citizens Information Center is to ensure
that the most current information is always available to
residents. This function is carried out in coordination with
the
Leon County Public Information Office and
Leon
County Emergency Management. Volunteers respond to
questions from the public via telephone and alert the Public
Information Office of any rumors or misinformation detected
or of trends in calls.
