National Family Volunteer Day 2006

National Family Volunteer Day logoFamily Volunteer Day, a program of the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network, sponsored by The Walt Disney Company is a day of service designed to demonstrate the power of families who choose to volunteer together to support the communities in which they live and serve. Locally, this day will be celebrated during the Apalachee Ridge Learning & Technology Center Winter Clean Up.

Date: Saturday, November 18th 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Volunteer opportunities include: various neighborhood revitalization tasks: Raking leaves, Winterizing flower beds, Pressure Cleaning, Painting, Vacuuming, Cleaning and more.
