The Commission is an impartial investigation and
policy making agency dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and
respect among all Floridians.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining an extensive public
information program; coordinating public information activities and
outreach projects; examples include- developing the public information
database, initiating and coordinating demographic research, assisting in
the development of training materials and assisting the Community
Relations Service unit as needed.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of
the principles and techniques of public relations, public information,
marketing and graphic design; ability to communicate verbally and in
writing. Experience developing informational/educational programs and
using the internet required.
Time and Place:
Monday-Friday; 10-20
hours per week. Office is located @ 325 John Knox Road, Building K /
Tallahassee, FL 32303
Commitment:
One academic semester; all semesters are
available.
