Major Objectives: |
To assist the Department in
maintaining Leon County’s readiness for a disaster. |
|
Responsibilities: |
To maintain current information on the County’s
emergency call-down list, health-care facility specifications,
procedures for departments and other aspects of emergency management. |
|
Qualifications: |
Strong background in English
and writing skills. Basic computer knowledge, especially WordPerfect and
spreadsheet program, database management a plus. |
Training/Preparation: |
Prefer major in Planning, Public Safety, English,
Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, Geography or Meteorology.
Possible security check. |

Time and Place: |
Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Detention
facility, 535 Appleyard Dr. Flexible hours. |
|
Commitment: |
One academic semester, 10
hours/week. |
