Major Objectives: |
Develop, implement and evaluate
educational programs that will assist children in acquiring knowledge,
developing life skills and forming attitudes that will enable them to
become self-directed and productive individuals. |

Responsibilities: |
Plan, organize, implement,
direct and evaluate educational activities. Establish and present
objectives, goals and plans for learning activities for 4-H youth
members. We will work with you to develop a program that meets your
needs and involves your abilities, talents and interests. |
|
Qualifications: |
Elementary education,
nutrition, home economics, movement science, leisure studies, child
development or agriculture science majors are preferred. Must possess
clerical/administrative competence. Must be able to work well with
children. Computer skills are desired. Must have transportation. Must be
able to write and speak effectively. Must be a self starter with good
motivation and initiative. |

Time and Place: |
Hours and days are flexible; usually between
8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday- possible weekends/evenings required to complete
project; Duties will be performed at the Leon County Extension office
and/or off-site as deemed appropriate. |
Training/Preparation: |
On the job training is desired. |

Commitment: |
One full academic semester. |
