Marketing Intern

VolunteerLEON - Leon County Volunteer Center  

Major Objectives:

To effectively market the Leon County Volunteer Center within Leon County and to assist in recruiting volunteers.

Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to: creating and maintaining publicity for the Leon County Volunteer Center; helping to coordinate special events like the ‘Street of Service’ event in April; and assisting in recruiting through the media and networking.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent computer skills and be able to create flyers and related publicity; be motivated and creative; and be a self-starter.

Training/Preparation:

Marketing or Communication related majors preferred.

Time and Place:

Variable

Commitment:

10 hours per week for one semester; all semesters available.
