Assist the Health Educator with
various community programs.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Health Educator with Car Safety Seat
Program, HIV/AIDS education, volunteer services data management, and
teleconferencing presentations. Intern will work closely with the Health
Educator and experience a variety of areas within public health. Interns
are encouraged to develop program in their areas of interest.
Qualifications:
Good written and verbal skills.
Health Education, Social Service or related interest.
Training/Preparation:
Regular meetings with Health Education Coordinator
to discuss responsibilities and expectations.
Time and Place:
Leon County Health Department. Hours will vary
with need, may include morning, day, evening, weekday and/or weekends.
