Overview

As the community's Volunteer Center, VolunteerLEON is
the key resource for volunteer involvement in the Big
Bend area. The Center is a service of the Leon County
Board of County Commissioners and brings together
individuals, non-profit organizations, governmental
agencies, faith-based communities, and civic groups
together with community needs through a range of programs
and services. |
VolunteerLEON is certified by the Points of Light Foundation,
and belongs to the National Volunteer Center Network,
Association for Volunteer Administration, National Association
of Volunteers in Government , International Association of
Volunteer Effort, Florida Association of Volunteer Centers,
Florida Administrators of Volunteers in Government, America’s
Promise-The Alliance for Youth, United Partners for Human
Services, and the Big Bend Directors of Volunteers
Association.
